DDC Poonch reviews progress under Holistic Agriculture Development Programme
POONCH, SEPTEMBER 11: District Development Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma today chaired a meeting to review the implementation and achievements under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP).
The Officers from Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, and Fisheries presented detailed PowerPoint presentations highlighting program registrations, approvals, farmer enrollments and progress on key projects. The updates covered the establishment of Kissan Kidhmat Ghars, expenditure under HADP, development of poultry farms, fodder resources, status of DAKSH Kissan Portal, JKCIP, carp ponds, trout units, fish farms and other schemes.
The District Development Commissioner directed the concerned officers to ensure accurate data on the DAKSH portal and encourage greater acceptance of applications. He also emphasized increasing registrations under Kisan Sathi and enhancing farmer enrollment under KKG.
Underscoring the need for wider outreach, the DDC instructed allied departments to actively promote all schemes, boost milk production in dairy farms and support the development of other local products for better market presence.
The meeting was attended by CPO, CAO, CHO, CAHO, DSHO, DSO, AD Fisheries, AD Floriculture, AGMO and other concerned officers.
