*Police Awantipora arrestes 08 long term absconders in Pampore.*

Awantipora November 2025:

Police Awantipora have arrested 08 absconders who were evading their arrest since long.

Awantipora Police received non-bailable warrants under section 299 CrPC/ 335 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita issued by the Hon’ble Principal Session Court Pulwama against eight absconders namely:
1. Nadeem Ahmed Dar S/o Ab Rahim R/o Drangabal Pampore
2. Mohammad Hussain Sofi S/o Gh Mohammad R/o Drangbal Pampore
3. Muneer Ahmed Bhat S/o Jalal Uddin R/o Drangbal Pampore
4. Mudasir Ahmed Sofi S/o Mohammad Sultan R/o Namblabal Pampore
5. Muzafar Ahmed Ganie S/o Ab Rashid R/o Bafina Pampore
6. Zaheer Ahmed Mir S/o Mohammad Sultan R/o Kadalbal Pampore
7. Mohammad Asif dar S/o Abdul Raheem dar R/o Drangbal
8. Mudasir Ahmad Lango S/o Mohammad Ismail R/o Kadalbal pampore

The abosconders were involved in different cases registered at Police Station Pampore.

Accordingly, a special team headed by SHO PS Pampore Inspector Khalid Fayaz under the supervision of SDPO Pampore Shri RP Singh was constituted and the accused persons were arrested from different areas. Subsequently, the arrested accused were produced before the Hon’ble Court of Law.

The arrest of these absconders reflects the sustained efforts of Awantipora Police in tracking down long-term fugitives. Awantipora Police reiterates its commitment to ensuring that no offender escapes the reach of law, and such actions will continue in the future.
